Collaboration Project Proposal-2015-03

Introduction

An object identifier helps in giving unique identifiers for all objects. Such identifiers with embedded timestamps helps in creating records of online events, objects and their versions. Object identifiers for objects can be thought of as the equivalent of IP Addresses for machines on the Internet.In this proposal, the standard is to be created by a committee of collaborators nominated by SCCI members.

Scope Of Standard

The proposed standard will attempt to meet the needs of smart cities, smart industry, smart transportation networks, smart grids, documents, media, things and social collaboration networks. While all of the details are not elaborated in the call for proposals, the same should be clearly explained in the first collaboration project meeting by the submitters.
